1. Collect Your Parents and Your 2023 Federal Tax Returns or Non-Filing Statements
The information from these documents will help you to complete the FAFSA/CA Dream App and CSS Profile
- Signed 2023 federal tax returns, including all statements, schedules, and W-2 forms for parent(s), student, and businesses
- Statement of Non-filing Tax Status, if the student and/or parent(s) did not and are not required to file federal taxes for 2023

Domestic undergraduate students may submit CSS Profile for free if:
- Family adjusted gross income is up to $100,000
- The student qualified for an SAT fee waiver
- The student is an orphan or ward of the court under the age of 24
- CSS Profile for noncustodial parents of domestic undergraduate students is free to submit for noncustodial parents whose family adjusted gross income is up to $100,000.

- Undocumented and Deferred Action (DACA) Students do not complete the FAFSA
4. Upload 2023 Tax Documents or Non-Filing Statements to
IDOC access granted after completing the CSS Profile
- Students that have their CSS Profile waived must deliver physical copies of federal tax returns or Non-Filing Statements to our office
5. Submit

- For students whose parents are divorced/separated/living apart/never married, have your noncustodial parent submit a CSS Profile to account for their income and assets
- Upload copies of their 2023 federal tax returns/Statement of Non-filing Tax Status to IDOC
- Noncustodial Waiver Request forms may be submitted to financial.aid@pomona.edu
