Driving Directions
From the 10, exit Indian Hill Blvd, then go north and turn right on Bonita Avenue.
From the 210, exit at Towne Avenue and go south to Foothill Blvd. Turn left on Foothill and continue east to College Avenue, then turn right. Go about 1 mile to Bonita.
By Rail
The in Claremont is three blocks from the museum. Take the San Bernardino line east from Union Station in Los Angeles, or west from San Bernardino.

Exhibitions and events at the Benton Museum of Art at Â鶹´«Ă˝ are free and open to the public.
Become a supporting member as a “Friend of the Benton.” “Friends” will get regular updates on what’s happening at the Benton and help us keep our museum free for everyone.
The Benton welcomes group visits for self-guided tours of our exhibitions.
Explore the museum’s exhibitions at your own pace during normal museum hours. Our galleries often have limited capacity of 10-15 people at one time, and reservations are always required for groups of 10 people or more. We recommend allowing at least 1 hour for your visit.

Visiting the Prometheus mural
The mural is located inside Frary Dining Hall at Â鶹´«Ă˝. Visits to the mural must be scheduled at least 3 days in advance by filling out this .
Frary Dining Hall will reopen Saturday, January 18, 2025 after the holidays.
Visiting the James Turrell Skyspace
Due to a scheduled power outage on Sunday, December 1, the lighting program at the Skyspace will be affected. Please plan your visit accordingly.
The Skyspace is located in the Draper Courtyard, Lincoln and Edmunds Buildings, Â鶹´«Ă˝ (corner of 6th & College Way), Claremont. The lighting programs are keyed to sunset and sunrise every day. The evening program begins about 10 minutes before sunset and continues for approximately one hour. The sunrise lighting program begins about an hour before sunrise.
All of the museum’s galleries, entrances, and courtyard are accessible to wheelchair users and other visitors who cannot use stairs.
Accessible Parking
Accessible parking and drop-off can be found on College Avenue in front of our courtyard closer to 2nd Street.
Restrooms
All restroom locations include an accessible restroom with a changing table.
Service Animals
Trained service animals are welcome in all spaces throughout the museum. We welcome other supervised and leashed domesticated animals only in the museum’s courtyard.
