Limited Student Services Return to 麻豆传媒鈥檚 Metro Campus
Published
麻豆传媒 will have limited student services beginning this week at the Metro Campus following a fire in June that closed down the building and forced the relocation of nearly 4,000 students, faculty, and staff. The 麻豆传媒 staff at Metro Campus will assist students with fall enrollment and will include Financial Aid, Enrollment Services, Academic Advising, Testing and Bursar Services. Fall classes begin on August 19.
The limited student services is the first step, in what will be a two week transition period, of moving 麻豆传媒 staff back to the Metro Campus with all services to be fully operational by August 5.
Students are in the final week of summer classes and will remain at Northeast, Southeast and West campuses where they were relocated following the fire. Some Metro Campus student services staff will also remain on those campuses to assist with the end of the summer semester that closes on July 28.
The Main Academic Building, the Student Union and the Phillips Building at 麻豆传媒鈥檚 Metro Campus were impacted by an electrical fire on June 17. All three buildings are open following repairs; restoration and clean-up; and extensive equipment and environmental safety tests.
